Do I need a Visa?
Indian passport holders currently require a visa to enter South Korea. You can apply for a tourist visa
(C-3) through the Korean Embassy. We assist with documentation guidance. Processing typically takes 5–7
business days.

What is the local currency?
The local currency is the South Korean Won (KRW / ₩). Notes come in ₩1,000, ₩5,000, ₩10,000, and ₩50,000
denominations. Currency can be exchanged at airports, banks, or authorised exchange booths.

Can I use my card?
Yes! South Korea is a very card-friendly country. Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted at most
restaurants, shops, and tourist spots. Notify your bank before traveling. Some smaller markets prefer cash.

What kind of clothes should I pack?
For May (summer): light cotton clothes, sun hat, comfortable walking shoes. For October (autumn): layered
clothing — mornings are cool (15–18°C) and evenings get chilly. Pack a light jacket or cardigan and
comfortable sneakers.

Absolutely! Our itineraries include free time for shopping at Myeongdong, exploring Hongdae, or simply

What food can I expect?
Korean cuisine is incredible! Expect bibimbap, tteokbokki, Korean BBQ, samgyeopsal, kimbap, ramyeon, and
fresh seafood in Busan. Vegetarian options are available. We guide you through local markets for authentic

Do I need to speak Korean?
Not at all! Our experienced travel buddies handle all communication. Most tourist areas, restaurants, and
transport systems have English signage. Google Translate with camera mode is a handy backup tool.

How much personal money should I carry?
We recommend carrying approximately ₩300,000–₩500,000 (roughly ₹18,000–₹30,000) for personal shopping, extra
meals, and souvenirs. This covers Myeongdong shopping, café hopping, and personal expenses comfortably.

What about internet and SIM card?
South Korea has world-class internet. You can rent a pocket Wi-Fi at Incheon Airport or purchase a local
tourist SIM (data-only). We'll guide you on the best options. Most cafes, malls, and restaurants offer free
Wi-Fi.

What is the time difference in Korea?
South Korea Standard Time (KST) is GMT+9. Compared to India (IST, GMT+5:30), Korea is 3.5 hours ahead. When
it's 12:00 noon in India, it's 3:30 PM in Seoul.

Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. It covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost baggage,

What essentials do I need to carry?
Passport, visa, travel insurance documents, any prescription medications, comfortable walking shoes,
universal travel adapter (Korea uses 220V Type C/F), and cash/cards. A portable power bank is also highly
recommended.

Immigration requirements?
On arrival at Incheon, you'll complete an Arrival Card, customs declaration, and biometric screening
(fingerprints + photo). Ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity. We share a complete
pre-departure checklist before your trip.

Prohibited items in Korea?
Prohibited items include narcotics, counterfeit goods, pornographic material, and certain agricultural
products (fresh fruits, vegetables, meat). Certain medications require documentation. Declare cash amounts
over USD 10,000 at customs.
