Answers to the most common questions about traveling to South Korea with Seoul Wanderers.

Indian passport holders currently require a visa to enter South Korea. You can apply for a tourist visa (C-3) through the Korean Embassy. We assist with documentation guidance. Processing typically takes 5–7 business days.
The local currency is the South Korean Won (KRW / ₩). Notes come in ₩1,000, ₩5,000, ₩10,000, and ₩50,000 denominations. Currency can be exchanged at airports, banks, or authorised exchange booths.
Yes! South Korea is a very card-friendly country. Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted at most restaurants, shops, and tourist spots. Notify your bank before traveling. Some smaller markets prefer cash.
For May (summer): light cotton clothes, sun hat, comfortable walking shoes. For October (autumn): layered clothing — mornings are cool (15–18°C) and evenings get chilly. Pack a light jacket or cardigan and comfortable sneakers.

South Korea Standard Time (KST) is GMT+9. Compared to India (IST, GMT+5:30), Korea is 3.5 hours ahead. When it's 12:00 noon in India, it's 3:30 PM in Seoul.
